Born and raised in New Jersey, Julie Wions, discovered her fondness for the arts early in life.  Her first love, visual art, earned her multiple awards, publications, and exhibition displays, along with a scholarship to the School of Fine Arts at the University of Hartford. In 2008, Julie founded Creations by Julie as a way to integrate her skills through the printing/marketing of her illustrations on merchandise. CBJ also serves as an outlet for Julie’s altruistic nature, as a percentage of all profits are donated to the ALS Association.  While artistically fulfilled, Julie soon became eager to explore additional mediums, as she headed to NYC to pursue a modeling career. Julie was accepted into several agencies and found success booking commercial and catalog work, which soon led to an interest in acting.

Julie currently resides in Los Angeles, where she has built achievement through a variety of artistic outlets from acting, modeling, and voice-over, to visual art and photography.  She has been involved on projects with Spike Lee, John Leguizamo, and Hilary Swank, and currently enjoys playing the beloved role of Vee on Disney’s “Chuggington” as a series regular.  You can also see Julie’s face in commercials for USA Today, Tachi Palace Casino, and as a hair model in print ads for 729 Beauty Salon.

In her free time, Julie is an active volunteer always seeking opportunities to make a positive difference throughout her community.  Her passions also include competitive games of ultimate frisbee and training in Krav Maga.  With a thirst for knowledge and a desire to build tools and enhance skill sets that better prepare her for effectively supporting and serving others, she is currently earning a psychology degree at Antioch University.  She plans on continuing her volunteer efforts and studies toward becoming a licensed therapist, while simultaneously fulfilling her dreams in the visual and performing arts.
